Students will love picking flowers in this little garden. Geared to articulation sounds for initial and final /f/, /g/, /k/, /l/ and /m/ along with final /t/ and /d/, you can choose which you want to target or mix them up! Students pick a flower and say the picture. If ready, they can use in a sentence. They can collect their flowers, glue on paper or just set aside. I also include having them tell me where their sound is in a word if using two different placements.
Need to use with a mixed group? No problem!! Students who pick the flower can use descriptors you have set up to talk about the targeted picture or name details and use in a sentence.
Flowers are bright and colorful and even come with a page of bugs that every garden should have. Bugs are just for decoration but as I found out, naming them is always a bonus since not everyone knows what they are. Included are a grasshopper, bee, bug, ladybug, worm and butterfly.
Easy to put together and your kids will love practicing with this bright colorful activity!
