Hello! I created these materials because I like to use SILLY and FUN articulation materials that are related to our current theme or time of year. This seems to make articulation practice more motivating for students and helps with generalization! I also like quick activities that I can print off and bring right to therapy without any prep.
I also love to use these activities as home programming. I have created them both [IN COLOR] and in [BLACK AND WHITE].
Each sound is targeted in the INITIAL, MEDIAL, and FINAL word position. Blends are targeted in the INITIAL position only.
There are many ways that you can use these activities, here are a few ideas:
**My FAVORITE way to use this activity: Put real jelly beans of the same color onto the articulation sheet. After your student says the word with good articulation, they can eat the jelly bean! Talk about the flavor of the jelly bean.
**Practice articulation at the word, phrase, sentence or conversational level
**Asking WH- Questions (“What is your favorite jelly bean flavor?” “Is “goldfish” a real jelly bean flavor?!?”)
**Following Directions (“Point to the silliest jelly bean”)
