Spring Articulation No Prep Weather Rain Craft for Speech Therapy

Make speech therapy prep and planning easier on yourself this Spring with this Raindrop speech sounds low prep activity! Great for use during a weather themed unit, a nursery rhyme unit (pair with Itsy Bitsy Spider!) or anytime in the Spring! With 10 articulation/phonology targets per phoneme in each word position, you can easily get lots of trials, keep kids busy in a group while they're waiting their turn, AND have something to send home for home practice.

Here's what you get with this download:

•6 different rainy day background scenes (3 black and white and 3 of the same in color; 1 background features a boy, while the other 2 feature a girl)

•3 Itsy Bitsy Spider themed backgrounds

•Raindrops with target words to color, cut, and glue onto the scene.

•Blank raindrops to write in your own targets

Both early and later emerging sounds are provided.

•P, B, M, N, T, D, K, G, F, V, S, Z, SH, CH, J, voiceless TH, L, sounds in the beginning/middle/end word positions (30 total per sound).

•Y, W, H, R are featured in the initial word position only (10 each). Vocalic /r/ is not included at this time.

•S, L, R blends are included in the initial word position. 30 total of each blend (30 s-blends, 30 l-blends, 30 r-blends) broken up as follows:

5 each: sm, sn, sp, st, sk, sw

5 each: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl)

4 4 each: br, cr, dr, fr, gr; 5 each: pr, tr

Want to get to 100 trials? Say each word 5x when initially coloring and gluing on raindrops, then go back over and say each word 5 more times after it's completed-- 100 trials done when you have 10 raindrops on the page!
