Spring NO PREP Barrier games are perfect for speech-language therapy or to enhance the skill of following and/or giving directions in a regular classroom environment. These would make great partner games!
Simply place a folder between two students so that they cannot see each other's picture. You can then provide students with directions (look at the number in the corner of the picture and then find the corresponding set of directions) or students can give each other directions! At the end of the game both pictures should be identical! These games emphasize the importance of following directions or giving descriptive directions!
What's included?
-12 spring themed background pictures
- Reference Booklet that students can assemble themselves and use across multiple therapy sessions! It addresses winter vocabulary, prepositions, pronouns, and plurals!
- Pictures that students color, cut, and glue around their background picture! Winter pictures that are included: 18 people, 18 animals, 18 rainy day items, 18 animals, and 18 objects.
- Direction pages that correspond with each background! These pages can be assembled into a booklet with ease so that you can use it each time you whip out these barrier games! Directions include temporary, conditional, and other two step directions. These directions are just suggestions, as there are a limitless amount of one-step and other directions you can easily make up to go with these games!
- WH question pages for what, who, where, when, why, and how. Assemble into a booklet for easy use! Just print and staple!
This packet addresses so many skills such as: vocabulary, grammar, following/giving directions, answering WH ?s, asking WH ?s, basic concepts, and more!
