Product Description
Spring Bump is an exciting game for students to play. All you need are two different colored counters about 10 to 15 counters per student, one dice with numbers 1 to 6 (not included) bump card and the direction/answer key.

Students will roll the dice, look at the number, and look at the what their number is suppose to do. Example: Roll a 3 - cover a verb! Student will look at the bump card and cover a verb. If the student rolls the dice with the same part of speech the student can place another counter on top of the same verb. Then they are saved and cannot be bumped by the other student. However, if the second student rolls the same number (3 - verb) that student can bump your counter and place their counter on top of that part of speech. The winner is the first student that has no counters left. There are 20 different parts of speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs) on the bump card. So you can decide how many counters you want each student to have. I give about 20 to 25 counters each to make it more challenging. There is also an answer key for the students if they are unsure what part of speech the word is.

There are 4 different game cards included. I print enough cards so that I can have the entire class play the game at one time (one card per two students). Then I place several cards in their literacy stations. Each group also gets the "Direction/Answer Key" card (shown on thumb nail above).

An answer key and a student answer sheet is provided. This activity is brought to you by "PRECIOUS ITEMS."
