Phonics skills practice in PDF. Students Love Color a Rhyme Activities.
The teacher should draw a spring picture (similar to the one found on the next page) on a white board. The teacher reads each statement and takes volunteers to name the rhyme that fits in the blanks. The volunteer comes up and colors the given part off the picture. As you work on this together, the students color the part of their picture (page 2) at their seat.
When you are finished with page 1-2, you may choose to pass out page 3. You can have the students work on this independently or in groups.
