What an exciting way to channel your students' interest in the Spring, Easter, or baby creatures into important mathematics practice!
In this activity the students will complete multiplication questions and then color their answer with a corresponding color. It is like a color by numbers only using times tables and a 100s chart.
This collection features two versions:
1) Multiplication questions written vertically.
2) Multiplication questions written horizontally.
The final image your students will create for either version is a fluffy, little chick!
This file is also available as 11x17 sheets. These are a nice option as your students only have to handle one piece of paper. Please visit my store to get that file as well as see many more Math Mystery activities for various holidays, seasons, & themes, including an Easter Bunny lot.
Finally, for just $2.00 more you can get my complete bundle of baby chick mystery pictures, which includes addition, place value, number locating, subtraction, and multiplication. This would be a great way to include multi-age and multi-ability classrooms. Everyone is working on the same image but solving problems at their level! Again it is available in my store.
