In our Flower Petal Counting Emergent Reader, you will get a repetitive flower petal counting story that follows the pattern "This flower has (number) petal/s." with a corresponding picture. We cover numbers 1-10.

I made this book with struggling readers in mind and my younger son, age 4, reads all of these books with ease. So, the age range of emergent readers really does vary on student skill sets. These are perfect for differentiation!
Each page is slightly less than a half-sheet of paper, and there are
12 pages total for each book, including the cover page.
There's a black and white version for students to color, and there's also a color version for your guided reading groups.
We hope this emergent reader has your student excited about learning their basic number words and sight words!
