Help children recognize signs of spring and reinforce the color yellow with this spring emergent reader SPRING IS YELLOW. Each page has a repetitive text related to spring and the color yellow. As a follow-up activity, a story web with clip art images and student printables are included.

A COLOR AND BLACKLINE VERSION ARE BOTH INCLUDED.

Early Learners can read the booklet together in a small group with adult guidance, color the pictures independently, or practice reading with a partner. Color word recognition is emphasized. The color version can be added to a reading center and a blackline copy can be sent home with each student.

Pages are not numbered so they can be arranged in any order. To assemble booklets, cut on the dotted lines, stack, and staple.
