Spring Flowers Math: Number Match-Up and Combinations Up to 20
This product has a variety of uses and is great for differentiation for your students' differing needs! You can choose just to do numbers up to 10 or include all numbers up to 20! You can have students do this activity in centers for practice with numbers.
Using the pot with one stem, have students pick a number from the white labels, place this label on the pot, and then put that number of petals around the center of the flower. Finish it off by picking the yellow circle with the correct number of petals!
Using the pot with two stems, have students pick a number form the white labels, place this label on the pot, and then think of two numbers that can add up to equal that number. If a student picked 12, he/she could put five petals around one flower center and seven petals around the other flower center. Finally, finish it off by picking the yellow circle with the correct number of petals! Students can think of as many combinations that equal that number!
Pick and choose from six different worksheets depending on your students' needs and levels.
This product works best when printed on cardstock, cut out, and then laminated. There is no need to cut out the sheets with the pots!
