Description

This interactive Google Drive Activity is great for any distance learning situation and Google Classroom. This activity with real photos is designed for expanding sentences and writing prompts. Three different levels of scaffolding using the questions "Who?", "What?", and "Where?" provide support to help students with sentence expansion. See previews for example.  Some classroom teachers find this activity helpful to use as story starters and writing prompts. When you save a copy of the google slides to share for each student you could delete the slides that do not apply to that student. Then, repeat this process for each student.

I liked the visual pictures. I used this with my para and my ELL kids and lower reader. With my average and top readers we used the picture but wrote more enriched sentence.

I love the word "scaffold" for this. It was just so helpful getting my students started on writing sentences while others worked on expanding and descriptive words.
