It includes 122 spring themed math activities that are designed for use in a first grade classroom. These activities are fun and engaging, but more importantly, they will keep your kids working on rigorous Common Core State Standards. 1.OA.1 Addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems
1.OA.2 Three-addend addition word problems to twenty
1.OA.3 Properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. (commutative property of addition & associative property of addition.)
1.OA.4 Subtraction as an unknown-addend problem
1.OA.5 Relate counting to addition and subtraction (e.g., by counting on 2 to add 2).
1.OA.6 Add and subtract within 20 and with fluency within 10
1.OA.7 Understand the equal sign in true/false equations
1.OA.8 Unknown addends in an addition or subtraction equations
Number and Operations in Base Ten
1.NBT.1 Count to 120
1.NBT.2 Understand tens and ones.
a. 10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones — called a “ten.”
b. The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
c. The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).
1.NBT.3 Compare two 2-digit numbers with the symbols >, =, and <..
1.NBT.4 Add within 100 (two-digit + a one-digit number and adding a 2-digit number and a multiple of 10)
1.NBT.5 Mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number

1.MD.2 Nonstandard measurement by iteration

For best results, be sure to set the printer to “Scale to Fit Page” for full-sized printing.
