Spring math fun! Spring Math Bundle for First Grade includes 6 awesome spring math resources to get your students working on word problems, addition and subtraction, shapes, telling time, measurement and more! It includes:
Spring Hundreds Charts,
Spring Hundreds Charts bring a fun math element to spring learning! There are 8 different mystery pictures: rainbow, bunny, flower, tulips, ladybug, dragonfly, umbrella, and butterfly. The puzzles are differentiated for 3 levels of learners. Level a puzzles are written in larger print, have fewer clues (33 - 84 squares to color). Level b puzzles are in smaller print and have 100 clues. Level c puzzles come on a blank hundreds chart that students must fill in, before identifying and coloring all 100 squares. These hundreds charts are a fun way for young learners to work on number recognition, writing numbers, and hand strength. Perfect for whole class or small group, homework or in class!
There are 7 spring themed tangram puzzles for your students to work with: 2 butterflies, 2 birds, a snail, a water lily, and a bunny. Each puzzle is provided in both outline form, and shaded - so you can easily differentiate. These puzzles make an awesome activity for early finishers, as a center, or even as morning work.
Spring Time Flowers,
Spring Time Flowers covers telling time to the hour, half hour, and a mix of the two, using both analog and digital clocks. There are 3 folder games, just right to use at a math center (time to the hour, the half hour, and mixed review). Large time cards for all hour and half hour times, in both analog and digital form are provided for sequencing and matching activities, as well as whole class learning games. Give students a whiteboard and a small clock, hold up a time card, and have them show it on their clocks or board - you will be able to instantly see who "got it" and who needs more help!
Spring word problems for first grade,
Spring Word Problems for First Grade includes join, separate, part-part-whole, compare problems, and adding 3 numbers within 20 with a fun, spring theme! Students will read each problem, then draw a picture, use tally marks and a ten frame to show how to solve it, and write the answer as an equation. There are 36 word problems, each offered as a reproducible half page worksheet, and as a prompt for math journals. Super flexible, you can use Spring Word Problems as a whole class or small group activity, homework, morning work, or to follow up a center!
Earth Day Patterns,
Earth Day Patterns combines math and earth day learning in a fun, hands on math center. Students will work with AB, ABC, AAB & ABB patterns about ways to reduce, reuse and recycle, then follow up with fill-in-the-blank and create-your-own-pattern worksheets.
