Spring is finally in the air!
Your students will enjoy these fun and colorful Spring-themed counting activities.
1. Counting on Spring with Numbers 1 - 5: Students will place the correct number of Spring pictures (leprechauns, ladybugs, peeps, chicks, rainbows) next to each number on the counting strip. This activity includes color Spring pictures so you can print and laminate for long term use in math centers, small group instruction, etc. or print in black and white for you whole class.
2. Counting on Flowers: Students will roll a die and place the corresponding number of flowers on the flowerpot work mat. The student that fills their work mat first is the winner.
3. Counting Chicks 0 - 10: Students count the number of dots on each chick and then “clip” the corresponding number using a clothespin. Four Counting Chicks Worksheets are also included in this activity.
4. 5 Ducks in a Pond Booklet: Students create a counting booklet.
Two versions are included:
1: Students draw or glue the correct number of ducks
2: Students count the ducks and write the number that shows how many.
