Then, they study three budgets, adding decimals to find the total amount spent, subtracting decimals to find out how much money each person has left, and using that information to answer word problems while analyzing the information.

✮Worksheet 2: Budget Calculations - students study three budgets and add and subtract decimals. **Three levels are available for this worksheet! In level one, students add the totals that have already been calculated and then find out how much money is leftover. In level two, students calculate the total amount per item based on the quantity, add the total amount spent, and calculate to find out how much money each person has leftover. In level three, students choose the quantities, calculate the totals, and find the amount leftover - all while trying not to go over budget!
