Description
Looking for an elementary music lesson plan to use this spring? Would you like for it to include speaking, rhythm, dynamics, musical instruments and form? Would you like to be able to use it with multiple grade levels?
Your students will LOVE the engaging activities and the interactive slides included in the lesson plan, the PowerPoint, tablet or Web version of the visuals. This music activity will be an excellent addition to your Orff lessons and Kodaly lessons!
The Bundle contains 2 resources that are sold separately in my store. It is also included in the bundle Spring Music Lessons and Activities for Elementary Music {Bundle}. Click on the product link for additional details. Consider purchasing the bundle to save money!
An engaging original speech to teach to your elementary music students anytime you are working on the concepts but ties in seasonally as well. Reading rhythmic patterns consisting of quarter note, quarter rest and 2 eighth notes beamed (ti-ti) or sixteenth notes is addressed along with forte and piano.
Each Lesson Plan and Interactive Visuals:
• 3 lessons each 4-10 minutes (2 pdf pages) plus an original speech/poem utilizing eighth notes or sixteenth notes. The lesson plan includes detailed instructions for teaching the poem, rhythmic activities, instruments and dynamics to first, second, third or fourth grade. Additional adaptions and extensions are also addressed.
• 12 slides (with 8 slides being teacher and student interactive) may be used to reinforce rhythmic reading and aurally identifying loud and soft using the dynamic markings "f" and "p". You will have everything you need to teach all the lessons. If you do not have access to PowerPoint just use the shared link to access the visuals via your tablet or Web Browser.
It is an excellent piece to address curricular concepts while enjoying making music.
Feel free to check out the preview which is a sample of the PowerPoint version of the product. TpT has size restrictions on previews and I am unable to offer a preview of the Web Browser version of the product. If you would like to see it please email me at McPhersonsMusicRoom@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to accommodate you.
Happy Spring!
