One of my favorite music listening and movement activities of all time, and perfect for this time of year!! This lesson, based on Antonio Vivaldi's 'Spring,' is a perfect way to present rondo.
The presentation guides your students through the imagery of this beautiful piece while solving the puzzle of its form (surprise, It's a rondo!) Then it gives students a chance to create movement to represent the sounds of springtime and create a whole class rondo.
Included in the lesson:
*PowerPoint presentation with editable text
*PDF copy of PowerPoint
*Printable Icon Cards
*Teacher's guide, with detailed movement activity
*Sound clip IS NOT included, however the PowerPoint contains a YouTube link.
(You may want to have a variety of costumes or movement props like scarves, ribbons, or balls, although these things are not a necessity)
