This product is a 18 pages worksheet for practicing the different positions of C and G on the grand stave! Young piano beginners often get confused as they cannot remember their notes, let alone different position of the same music letter. This worksheet is designed specifically for young piano beginners who are already on Piano Adventures Book 1 and Book 2A.

10) Answer Keys for Teachers and Parents
This worksheet is meant to reinforce three different positions of C and G notes piano beginners already learnt, by drilling and practicing only three notes at a time. I chose to focus on the different positions of C and G for Treble Clef and Bass Clef as most of my students struggle to remember them. I created this product as a supplementary worksheet for all students who are currently learning Piano Adventures Book 1 and Book 2A.
As a piano teacher, I find that within the 30 minutes lesson I teach most young beginners, there is never enough time to go through notes. Most of my students also lead very busy lives, thus this worksheet is meant for extra home practice before they come to piano lessons. This is also a great worksheet for the school holidays, as some of my students do not attend piano lessons during their school holidays but do not travel overseas.
A note to teachers and parents:
This worksheet can be downloaded and printed easily for young beginners to use. It can also be saved as a PDF file and opened on apps such as Skitch and Evernote. Students can just practice their note reading on your iPads by drawing on the screen with their fingers. For parents, this product is a perfect note revision worksheet for your child who struggles to remember the different positions of C and G on the piano.
This worksheet has some colors in them, however they will work perfectly fine if you printed them as black and white. Please keep the answer key page for your own reference only. Students should be doing the worksheets without any help, preferably after studying the description pages( the pages with explanation about the different C and G notes).
If you're looking for more note reading worksheets, I have a couple of products already on my store.
