Games Included:
Number Bond Go Fish - Use this classic card game to practice number bonds! Students take turns asking fellow players if they have a certain number to try make a pair. If the player asked has the card, they hand it over. If not, the player asking for the card has to "Go Fish," from the rest of the card pile.

Number Bond Memory - Lay all cards face down on a table. Students take turns turning over 2 cards at a time to make a pair. Each pair has one card that is a number bond with a missing part and another card that contains just the numeral.

Differentiation Tip: Laying out all the cards at once may be too much for some students. Pick out half the cards (make sure you have matching pairs) to lay out on the table. Another option is to use only up to the number your students have learned (example: 0-5).

Number Bond/Ten-Frame Memory - This Memory game contains cards with a missing number from a number bond and a matching ten-frame number. Lay all cards face down on a table. Students will take turns to find pairs.

Differentiation Tip: Just like with Number Bond Memory, use the amount of cards that best fit your students.

Top This - This card game is based on the classic game, "War," but with a more kid-friendly name. Deal out the entire deck between all the players (2 - 4). Players leave cards face down in a pile. Count to 3 and all players lay out the top card from their pile. Highest value card wins and that student takes all the cards played in that round. In the event of a tie, the players that played the same value card flip over another card with the winner taking all.

Differentiation Tip: It may help to "sprinkle" in the number bond cards if students need to get used to using them quickly in a game.

Number Bond Work the Room - Hang up number bond task cards around the room. Students will walk around with an answer sheet on a clipboard to record their answers. Answer keys included.

Differentiation Option:
*One set of cards has only 1 number missing from each number bond
*One set has 2 numbers missing from each number bond and students will need to use the picture on the task card to help them find both numbers
*Answer sheets contain different number of problems to best fit student capabilities

Number Bond Hop (Scoot) - This game is based on the game, "Scoot." 24 number bond task cards are placed around the room on desks or tables. Students have an answer sheet on a clipboard and move around to answer each card. I like to play music and have my students dance to the next card. When the music stops, they stop dancing and complete the task card.

Blackline masters and full-color task cards are included for Number Bond Hop.

Differentiated Options/Tips
*Answer sheets provided contain different amount of problems to best fit your students
*Instead of a different card at each seat or desk, place multiple copies of the same card at each table, so that students have less problems to complete
