This resource provides 5 engaging spring themed clip card math centers for your little learners to practice Numerals to 20. The graphics include a boy with a kite, a girl in a swing, girls under an umbrella, a boy splashing in a puddle, and a girl holding flowers while looking at a butterfly.
This packet includes:
• 1 tally marks clip card activity
• 1 domino clip card activity
• 1 dice clip card activity
• 1 counting fingers clip card activity
• 1 Place Value Blocks clip card activity
Print, laminate, and cut out the clip cards. You will need to supply 100 clothespins for all 5 activities in this packet.
There is a math task and a choice of three numerals printed on each card. Learners clip a clothespin on the correct numeral for the task on the card or they can use dry erase markers to circle the correct numeral. You may opt to make these cards self-checking by writing the answer on the back or marking a dot on the back at the correct spot. You may use all 20 cards in each activity or select the range of quantities that best meets your learners’ needs. These task cards work well in math centers, for early finisher activities, or for take home practice.
These cards help learners develop numeracy and support the Math Common Core Standards for Counting and Cardinality.
The graphics used in this packet are from Whimsy Clips, Scrappin Doodles, My Cute Graphics, Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Designs, Sticky Foot Studio, and First Grade Brain .
