Get an engaging math task card center for your little learners to address mental math skills with numerals to twenty! These fun clip cards with cheerful daffodil and domino graphics provide subitization practice.

There is a domino representation of a quantity and a choice of three numerals printed on each card. Learners clip a clothespin on the correct numeral for the quantity represented by the domino or they can use dry erase markers to circle the correct numeral. You may opt to make these cards self-checking by writing the answer on the back or marking a dot on the back at the correct spot. Another fun option is to place the cards in a dollar store photo album and use a dry erase marker to make a write and wipe activity. Use an inexpensive black glove as an eraser.

You may use all 20 cards in each activity or select the range of quantities that best meets your learners’ needs. These task cards work well in math centers, for early finisher activities, or for take home practice.

Print, laminate, and cut out the clip cards. You will need to supply 20 clothespins for this activity.

This activity helps learners develop numeracy and support the Math Common Core Standards for Counting and Cardinality.
