Spring Poetry Writing Unit

Our Spring Poetry Writing Unit will make teaching poetry a blast! Through poems, your students can practice writing in a creative and highly expressive context. Our unit focuses on 5 fun types of poetry that your class is sure to love: Colour, Acrostic, Shape, Rhyming and Haiku Poems!
*Please note: There are two different versions provided – one with Canadian spelling (i.e. colour) and one with American spelling (i.e. color) so that your kiddos don’t get confused!

This comprehensive unit requires no further preparation and contains everything you’ll need to teach and assess an engaging poetry writing unit from start to finish! Included in this package are the following:
