Spring Raindrops Counting Practice 1-20:Encourage children to practice number recognition and quantification by counting our the correct number of raindrops for each cloud.
Flower Garden Patterning: This springtime game will encourage children to practice their patterning skills by completing a number of different patterns. Cut out the flowers and have children place them on the tops of the remaining stems to complete the pattern on each card.
Rain Boot Letter Match: This game encourages children to match the yellow, capital letter rain boot with the corresponding blue, lowercase letter rain boot. Matching the upper and lower case letters will help children learn their letters, and increase reading fluency as children are quickly able to switch back and forth between upper and lower case letter recognition as they read.
Rainy Day Vocabulary Cards and Spelling Practice: This vocabulary set includes the words puddle, boots, raindrop, umbrella, rain, rainbow, splash, mud, and cloud. This set also includes a set of cards that has pictures and spaces for children to practice spelling the vocabulary words with letter tiles. You could also use the second set to have each child write in the words themselves to create their own vocabulary card set.
