This ELA CCSS Aligned Thematic Unit about Spring is designed to teach students about the signs of spring through reading and writing activities. All reading and writing activities are differentiated at the K, 1st, and 2nd grade levels. Reading includes an Original Shared Reading Book, Picture/Word Cards, 3 Differentiated Leveled Guiding Reading Books and Comprehension Activities. Students will engage in various writing activities such as a Spring Science Journal, Spring Writing Book and Activity, Informative Text and Opinion Piece Writing. CCSS for K-2 and Lesson Instructions included.
