Product Description
Spring is here! This 35 page download includes 4 different activities targeting receptive language language.

Barrier Game: (1 picture scene and 18 interactive pieces) Print, cut, and laminate all pieces. You will need to have 2 copies of the picture scene and images. Attach the scene to a manila folder. Place Velcro in different places on the scene and on the back of the interactive pieces (Velcro should be in the same places on both picture scenes.
To play: Place the folder between two students so that they cannot see what the other is doing. Give the students directions of where to put the interactive pieces. At the end, students will look to see if they were able to follow directions. Barrier games are also great for having students develop stories and build vocabulary.

Bug Bingo: Print, cut, and laminate. Give each student a Bingo mat. This can be used for identifying nouns or identifying objects when described.

WH Questions: (60 cards) Print, cut, and laminate. All cards have two pictured answer choices except “why” question cards. Students will draw a card and answer the question. Use with the open-ended board game.

Following Directions: (60 cards+ 6 special cards) Print, cut, and laminate. One step, two step, and conditional directions. Place the cards into a bag, hat, or box. The students will take turns pulling cards out and completing the direction. If the student completes the direction on the card, they keep it. If they are unable to complete the direction, they will place the card back into the bag, hat, or box. Watch out for special cards.

Temporal Directions: (3 worksheets) Print, cut, and laminate. Cut off the top portion of each worksheet and give to student(s). The teacher will read the directions to the students as they point to the correct object.
