This is a science informational reading passage about robins written with upper elementary students in mind. Students will learn about the life cycle of a robin as well as about how robins build a nest. It is paired with an engineering challenge which requires the students to gather natural materials and then build a nest that will hold three eggs! There are graphic organizers for students to use after the reading. Directions and planning sheets for the engineering and design challenges are included as well.
