Here is a quick and easy activity that can be used for literacy centers in primary classrooms to celebrate spring. Students will practice their writing and reading skills to create sentences using various parts.
The center splits sentences into 3 parts giving students the opportunity to put them together and make sure the sentence they have created makes sense. After creating the sentence, the student records it in their notebook or on the recording sheet provided. Students must pay attention to capital letters at the beginning of the sentence and a period at the end. Students also have the opportunity to make some pretty silly sentences!
• 20 beginning, middle and end parts of sentences
