These task cards can be used in many ways and are helpful for students with exceptionalities AND early grades. Many students in my classroom struggle to sequence events and this is a fun way to reinforce the skill. My students also enjoy seasonal or themed activities that I rotate throughout the year, so the Spring theme is new and fresh for them! This also relates to IEP goals for many students with exceptionalities.
Sequence cards need to be cut apart and laminated. Students then place cards in order on sequencing mat. Teachers can decide to use number or ordinal number mats.
These task cards can be used as a file folder activity by cutting pieces apart, laminating and placing in file folder.
Black and white cards can be used as printables in class. Students can color themselves and then place in order. This could also be used for a simple bell ringer activity/do now.
