Kites, birds, flowers, bees, and butterflies. These are all SPRING THINGS featured in this latest pack of literacy activities.
This product works on the following skills: author’s purpose, sequence, synonyms, parts of speech (grammar), editing, and antonyms.
The six activities in this packet were created with 3rd-5th grade students in mind. In some cases, it may be useful for 2nd or 6th grade classes. Please consider the abilities of your unique class.
These activities can be incorporated into your pre-existing literacy routine. Use them for early finishers, as literacy centers, mini-lessons, or to reinforce concepts in small groups. Most activities can be differentiated and/or modified for unique learners.
The title page for each activity contains directions for student use independently. You may wish to modify the directions and/or the activities and provide your own set of directions.
It is suggested to print activities on cardstock and laminate for durability. Some pages should be copied individually for student use and consumption during the station. Some activities will require cutting prior to use. To save on copies, laminate answer sheets and provide dry erase markers instead of giving individual student copies. Compile complete activities into baggies or clasp envelopes for storage.
