This activity includes 8 spring themed stories. Each story includes six parts.

To prepare: Print and cut apart all story cards. Laminate for durability, if desired. Mix up story cards, but keep the sets together. (In other words, scatter the kite cards, but don’t mix the kite cards with the bike cards.)

To use: Have students read through a full set of cards and determine the one card that reflects the main idea of the passage. Then, starting with the main idea, students must put the story together by sequencing the steps in the correct order.

*Some stories include words such as “first”, “next”, “last”, but others do not.
