Description

With this resource, you will be introducing unit measurement to your child or student. With the included 1" tiles, the child can measure the height or length of the included objects (from bold line to bold line) and then count the number of tiles long or high to begin to understand the concept of measurement prior to using a ruler.

Included in this resource are detailed lesson plans to help you introduce, expand, and explore this concept with your child as they become increasingly proficient with this skill. This would make the perfect Montessori shelf work, morning tub activity, early finisher work, math center, or independent practice.

I loved how easy it was to add these to my students' morning bins. They were so easy and engaging for the kids.
