Practice one-to-one correspondence by scrambling and unscrambling spring vocabulary words. Perfect for a literacy center, word work activity, early finishers, and independent work time.
For the activity:
Print the color pages and laminate (or to save on ink, use the black and white printables and print on colored paper). Cut on the dotted line to separate the letters. Cut out the letters and store in a baggie. You can store all the letters together or keep each word separately. Have the students use the letters to spell each spring word.
For the printables:
Have the students cut and glue the letters in the correct order to spell each word. Printables can be used as recording sheets for the activity or on their own (such as, morning work). You can save paper and use these in journals/notebooks by printing 2 printables per page (directions included inside the pack.)
spring, garden, shamrock, flowers, kites, rain, rainbow, umbrella, bunny, chick, snail, bird, insects, butterfly, ladybug
