Spring Writing Prompts

Students will love writing with these spring themed prompts! The questions on each of these sheet are perfect for encouraging brainstorming and thinking. In this file, you will receive six different writing prompts which each come in three different formats. These formats will help promote differentiation with your students! Choose from primer lines with space for a picture, primer lines, and regular lines - all included in this product! No prep involved - just print and go!

Working on Writing?
This product pairs great with my independent writing vocab lists! Give students a tool for spelling with this helpful set of different word lists. These lists can be found here:

Common Core Aligned
•CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.K.2
Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.
•CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.1
Write opinion pieces in which they introduce the topic or name the book they are writing about, state an opinion, supply a reason for the opinion, and provide some sense of closure.
•CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.2
Write informative/explanatory texts in which they name a topic, supply some facts about the topic, and provide some sense of closure.
•CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.5
With guidance and support from adults, focus on a topic, respond to questions and suggestions from peers, and add details to strengthen writing as needed.
