Do your students confuse he/him, she/her, they/them, we/us? Or perhaps they have a difficult time understanding pronouns and why we use them? This packet is a great way for them to practice. Can be used as task cards for centers or small group activities or as a game. Print out and laminate the cards for years of use. This packet features 24 pages of task cards focusing on subjective and objective pronouns grouped by gender and number. You can mix up the cards for practice with all featured pronouns or just select the ones your students are having trouble with. Students need to replace the underlined nouns with the appropriate pronoun. This is designed to reinforce understanding of parts of speech. All subjective pronoun sets feature both simple sentences and complex sentences to vary the location of the target word, so that students don't assume that if it is at the beginning of the sentence it is always subjective and if it is in the middle or at the end of a sentence you always use an objective pronoun.
Rainy Day Puddle Jump game board and additional game cards are included if you wish to use this as a game.
Designed to meet common core standards L.1.1d, L.1.1, L.2.1
