Spring is the season of new beginnings. It is when many baby animals are born, when birds build their nests, when plants gardens start to grow, when insects become active, and when there is much fun to be had in mud!! Nothing holds more fascination or appeal to a primary student than a big gooey, messy, mud puddle.
In this extended activity covering ELA, math, and science standards, students will take part in experiments with mud, discover the needs of plants, and understand metamorphosis.
Included are fun activity centers and a rubric to track each student's progress.
