This activity is perfect for teaching students basic addition. All addends and totals are less than ten.
Worksheets contain 11 basic addition problems with colorful and simple Boardmaker pictures.
Directions: Students are to count the first set of objects and write the number in the box. Then they count the second set, write the number in the box, and then they have created an addition problem. By counting ALL of the pictures, students begin to understand that combining sets gives them the total.
Boardmaker pictures are used to simplify the definitions for students with special needs.
Worksheet would be excellent for general education Pre-K through possibly grade 1, also for all grades with special education students.
