(Look for our bundled set of Sight Word Fun! Visit our store!)
If your spring studies include any plants, or rabbits, this is a sight word game for you! Cut apart letter tiles and put inside carrot shaped eggs. (These can often be found at dollar stores.) If you don't have any carrot-shaped eggs, regular plastic eggs will do!
This game includes 96 words that occur on the Dolch List and Fry's First 100 Words. Students can play We Dig Sight Words individually, in pairs, small groups, or even as a whole group. Just pass a bucket of carrots around the circle as you introduce the game. Everyone wants a turn!
We love to have fun and laugh with our students! Be sure to check our store for other engaging, interactive activities, and emergent readers. Thank you for taking the time to look at our listing!
