Students will be given square root equations in vertex form. Using colored pencils they will graph each function based on the transformations indicated. They will then fill out a table with information about the graphs including, horizontal/vertical transformations, reflections, vertex location, domain and range. On the back page, they will summarize what they've learned and finish up by matching some square root graphs to their corresponding equations.
This is a great companion to Quadratic Fanatic! I like to use this when introducing square root functions with transformations.
