Students were placed in groups of four. Each student needs to create an equation with at least two transformations on the square root function, anchor chart, graph the function, identify or find the x- and y-intercept if applicable, and represent the domain and range in interval notation and algebraic symbolism.
Students engaged in a gallery walk and scored their peers posters according to the rubric. Each rotation focused on one specific category of the rubric. Students left comments and scores on sticky notes. When groups returned back to their home poster, they reviewed their feedback and left me any comments if they did not agree on the scores they received.
