*Pair students up. Each pair needs one set of
question cards (24 cards total), one game board, two game pieces, one answer key, one die, and a calculator if desired. Students mix question cards up and place them face down in a pile.
*Students do rock paper scissors to find out who
goes first. The first student will draw the question card on top and complete the work on a whiteboard or piece of paper. They have 3 minutes to complete it. They must show all work for each problem. Once they are done, they will show their answer to the other student who will check their answer against the provided answer key. If the student gets the answer correct, they get to roll a die to find out how many spaces they may move forward on the game board. If they get it incorrect, they do not get to roll the die and do not get to move forward on the game board. The first student to the end wins! Continuously walk around to provide positive reinforcement and reteach when needed!
