This "magic square" puzzle is a fun way for students to practice their knowledge of their perfect squares (1 - 625) and perfect cubes (1 - 1000). Adjacent edges of the puzzle will be equivalent, so students must correctly evaluate each radical expression to put the puzzle together.
There are two versions of the puzzle included. The regular version has unused expressions; all sides of all pieces have expressions but they are not all used. A modified version is included with no extra expressions, which will help struggling learners by reducing the frustration while still requiring them to know the material.
