Squiggle Stories

Squiggle Stories is a creative way to incorporate writing and drawing into your classroom. First students integrate the squiggle into their picture. Then, they write a story about their picture. Simple as that!

Squiggle stories can be used as a writing center, morning work, or even early finisher work.

If you plan to use these regularly, you can choose to keep each child's squiggles together to make a book using a 3-prong folder. A cover is included for this purpose.

Choose the writing paper that is appropriate for your students. Use either the primary-lined or solid-lined Squiggle Story paper, or mix and match to meet the needs of your writers.

Optional: Double-side each Squiggle Story writing page with the extra line paper for students to have additional room to write their stories.
