Fall is in the air and with it comes a FUN spiral math review!! This activity will make your 3rd grade students feel like they're experiencing fall inside your classroom in this fun activity while also practicing essential third grade math skills at the same time! When they complete all 10 math challenges, they get to celebrate (I like to give them a little prize at the end too!).

If you're looking for ways to make more meaningful connections to math in the real world, this is the activity for you! Students will embark upon a day as a squirrel while practicing this important math concepts at the same time. Remembering concepts taught can be difficult for third graders and this spiral math activity is great practice!

⭐ What is This? ⭐

Help your students become math experts in your classroom! Students complete 10 math challenges that are real-world related.

Print out all 10 color posters and all 10 aligned challenges. Distribute them around your room. Give each child a recording sheet. Explain to students that they are squirrels today and will complete all challenges. They will find all the challenges you've left around the classroom and find the answers to each one. They use the recording sheet to mark off each challenge as they go.

There is also an additional writing activity where students scan the QR codes on each poster and find out fun facts about fall / autumn!
