A new way to play an old game…great for all ages!
After printing, cut away the white strip so the board can be taped together. It could also be mounted onto a file folder.
Use checker pieces to play. For each move, the student will make up sentences using picture pairs that coordinate with the square his/her piece is moving to. There are pictures on the all of the squares so that other versions of checkers can be played.
Options: Before the student can move, he/she must name one of the two coordinate pictures, put the two words into a phrase, sentence, etc.
