In this St Patrick's freebie, students learn to color in objects that are to be subtracted – and then count the remaining objects that haven’t been colored in.
Add a little Irish magic to the activity by telling your students that Leprechaun’s hide their treasured possessions under mushrooms and at the ends of rainbows – but then often forget where they left them. Ask your class to help the Leprechaun’s work out how many items they've got left.
A teacher answer pdf is also included.
