Your students will love celebrating St. Patrick's Day with this lap book/project board craftivity. Primary students can practice reading the poem or learning a little about Ireland's flag and national flower. Older students can read about the history of Ireland and find the evidence in the text to determine if statements are true or false. They can also do some research on Ireland to complete a poster report on that country. Mix and match the variety of options provided to differentiate and create a board that best suits your students' needs.
The lap book/project board can be completed with or without the craft. Many of the activities can be completed independent of the lap book/project board as well.
When completed, this lap book makes a great tabletop or desk display. It can also be hung from the ceiling so both sides are visible. In addition, it makes a great bulletin board or hallway display.
All of the pieces shown in the photographs of the craft as well as many additional options have been included in this download, so it can be differentiated across several grade levels.
