St. Patrick's Day: This pack is perfect to use any time in March or for the actual holiday. I am calling this pack a "Pattern Picture". I also sell "Pattern Portraits" in my store that have portraits of famous people in history, which are formatted the same way.
(Scroll down to read more about what makes this product original.)
What are Pattern Pictures? They are fun themed pictures with patterns behind the image. When students color the patterns in a variety of different colors, the finished product is whimsical and fun. They can then color the main image that sits in front of the patterns. These are sure to add colorful pizzazz to your classroom. For the most pep from your pictures, tell your students to use lots of different colors and try not to have two of the same colors touching.
This pack includes a "Pattern Picture" coloring sheet for St. Patrick's Day, a pennant, writing paper formatted to be glued to the coloring sheet or the pennants (The extra-long banner option is neat!).
The St. Patrick's Day image of the leprechaun, rainbow, and clover were drawn specifically for this banner, so you won't see that exact design anywhere else.
See the thumbnails and preview to get a better idea of what is included.
For my famous people "Pattern Portraits", if you would like me to consider making that you think many people could benefit from, please send me a message :-) No promises, but I will gladly consider any.
***NOTE ABOUT THE DESIGN....You may have seen some other patterned art I posted in my store before now. You may have even purchased some of my holiday or pattern portraits. I apologize, but those first designs I uploaded have been removed. I had another seller request my original portrait art be removed because it looked too much like the style of art she sells in her store. I am okay with that request and I have worked hard to make this new version quite different by addressing all of the areas in the letter I received. ****I would like to address those changes. With my updated version, there has been a name change, but I think "Pattern Portraits" and "Pattern Pictures"are really cute. The patterns are now behind the main image. My main image is no longer split into extra sections using diagonal lines overlaying the image. My main image sits on top of the patterns and does not have patterns as part of the main image. My writing paper is formatted to be attached to the pennants or the coloring page, or the pages can be used with out writing paper. As with any coloring activity, students get to pick their own colors. **** I have given a sample in my thumbnail but each final product will be different.
If you purchased my original St. Patrick's Day pattern picture, you can email me at email@example.com and let me know. I will email you this new pack at no charge. Just let me know the date you purchased and your user name. I will gladly email you this pack:-) I will also send you my black history pack, because I am sorry for the inconvenience!
With the creative changes to mine and with these new revisions, my work should not cause any confusion when comparing product lines, especially since all of the drawings of the famous people in history were drawn specifically with this product in mind. I love the updated version, and I hope you do too. I hope your students have fun adding some color and pizzazz to the classroom.****
This pack is for one classroom teacher, but additional licenses can be purchased for half price.
