Feed the Leprechaun is an interactive game that targets articulation skills. It targets initial and final K, G, F, V, Sh, Ch, Th, L, R, S, Initial S blends, initial Z sounds and final consonant deletions are all included. There are 10 coins for each sound, 1 blank coin and 1 Leprechaun coin. Final consonant deletions pages include 5 coins ending in p t, m, and n. Also included is a page of 12 Leprechaun coins and 12 blank coins.
1.) Cut out the top of the pot of gold.
2.) Place it on a small colored gift bag with the pot on the
bottom of the bag.
3.) Trace around the opening of the top of the pot.
4.) Cut out the opening on the bag.
5.) Glue the Leprechaun’s head, and body on the bag, lining
up the holes.
6.) Fold down the top of the bag, so the hat is sticking out.
7.) Laminate and cut out the gold coins.
8.) The pictures can also be attached to plastic gold coins.
8.) Alternate: Make the Leprechaun with the students. Skip laminating the gold and send them home with your students as home practice.
