St. Patrick's day is an exciting day for students and teachers as children love to celebrate special holidays!
In this St. Patrick's Day Pack students will be able to celebrate all day (and/or week!) long with educational centers and activities.
This St. Patrick's Day Pack Includes:
St. Patrick's Day Math Centers/Activities:
St. Patrick's Day Ordering and Sorting: students can order St. Patrick's Day shamrocks from 1-120 (counting by 1s, 2s, 5s, or 10s,) sort St. Patrick's Day shamrocks into odd and even numbers, and sort St. Patrick's Day shamrocks into less than and greater than 60. St. Patrick's Day printables for each of these centers to help hold students accountable for their center work as well as to help the teacher check for understanding of each of the concepts listed above.
St. Patrick's Day adding 2 and 3 addends to find a given sum. Students will add numbers (using 2 and 3 addends) on St. Patrick's Day leprechaun gold to find the pot of gold with the same sum.
St. Patrick's Day Doubles Practice: Students will match doubles with their correct sums in another math center card set.
Extra addition practice: St. Patrick's Day 2 roll, add, and color games (using 2 and 3 dice.)
St. Patrick's Day Making Words Center/Activity: Students use the word "rainbow" to see how many individual words they can create.
St. Patrick's Day Writing Centers/Activities: "If a leprechaun grants me three wishes... "to catch a leprechaun I will..." and "If I find a pot of gold under a rainbow."

CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.A.1 Count to 100 by ones and tens.
CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.A.2 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1.)
CCSS.Math.Content.1.NBT.A.1.Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120.
CCSS.Math.Content.1.OA.3 Understand and apply properties of operations and the relationship between addition and subtraction. Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. Examples: If 8+3=11 is known, then 3+8=11 is also known. (Communicative property of addition.)
CCSS.Math.Content.1.OA.4 Understand and apply properties of operations and the relationship between addition and subtraction. Understand as an unknown-addend problem. For Example, subtract 10-8 by finding the number that makes 10 when added to 8.
CCSS.Math.Content.1.OA.5 Add and subtract within 20. Relate Counting to addition and subtraction (e.g., by counting on to add 2.)
CCSS.Math.Content.2.OA.B.2 Add and subtract within 20. Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental math strategies know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
