St. Patrick’s Day Math Centers and Activities – It’s time for leprechauns, shamrocks, good luck and lots of green! This is the math set of my Shamrock Shenanigans Math and Language Arts Bundle
. It includes four math activities that can be used as a whole group, small group or in partners. All activities are easy to prepare and include lots of ideas for differentiation. Here’s what’s included:
Pot of Gold: a money coin activity with 2 levels - one set with quarters and one set with and without quarters; this can be used as a small group center, whole class with each student holding a card and trying to find their match or as a Scoot or Read the Room activity (post the pots of coins around the room and use the recording sheet provided).
Shamrock Sort: addition and subtraction, with and without regrouping – one set of 2-digit numbers and one set of 3-digit numbers (problems that regroup only do so once in the ones place); fun to use a center or as a Scoot or Read the Room activity.
BUMP Those Coins: adding two-digit numbers and rounding the sum to the nearest ten, or simple rounding of 2-dgit numbers – 3 different boards for you to choose from.
A Hatful of Numbers: 2 and 3-digit place value; 2 different recording sheets
